Cookie notice

Last updated: 3 October 2026

Rift Haul uses two cookies. Both are needed to keep you signed in and to keep your account secure, so the game can't work without them. We don't use any advertising, tracking or analytics cookies, and nothing in the game follows you around the internet.

Because both cookies are strictly necessary, the law doesn't require us to ask for your consent, and we don't show a cookie banner. We still want you to know what they are.

The two cookies

Cookie What it does How long it lasts
rh_session Keeps you signed in as you move around the game. Your browser can't read it with scripts, which protects it from being stolen. Until you sign out or the session expires
rh_csrf A security code that proves each action you take really came from you, not from another website trying to act on your behalf. For your session

Things stored in your browser that aren't cookies

The game also saves two small settings in your browser's own storage. Neither is ever sent to us:

Name What it does
rh_music Remembers your music player settings, such as whether it's playing and how loud.
Chat read marker Remembers which chat messages you've already seen, so new ones stand out.

Third parties

None. The game's fonts are stored on our own servers, so loading Rift Haul sends nothing to any other company.

Removing them

You can clear cookies and site storage in your browser's settings at any time. If you clear rh_session, you'll be signed out. Clearing the others resets your music settings and chat read marker.
